Coastal California offers painters a wide variety of dramatic views. From La Jolla’s coves to the beauty of Mendocino, and further north to the redwoods…a painter wants to paint every scene. The California wine regions present the painter with fog-shrouded vineyards. Many the wineries now have lavender fields to attract visitors…and painters!
I love painting along the winding roads of the Russian River Valley. And my very favorite place to set up my easel is near the estuaries of the Point Reyes National Seashore.
